Archie Goodwin is a gifted guard for the Kentucky Wildcats and a projected lottery pick in this year’s NBA draft if he elects to come out. I’m sure he will but imagine if he returned for his sophomore season? He would be a Wooden Award favorite on a loaded team challenging for a national championship.
Instead of what may be, he’s currently trying to rally a wounded Wildcats team without Nerlens Noel back into the bubble picture and off of their current NIT track and he exploded in the second half against Missouri at Rupp Arena.
Update: Goodwin scored 18 points all after halftime in sparking Kentucky over Missouri in what was a huge win to keep Big Blue Nation’s season alive.
Here’s the video of Goodwin ripping a Phil Pressey dunk and finishing at the rim with a next level dunk that causes Rupp Arena to nearly explode.
